Year of the Snake Selvedge is a 12.5oz denim woven in a light slubby yarn. In 2025 we enter the year of the snake so the leather patch on these jeans features a cool snake decoration designed by Andy Belanger, a Montreal comic artist.
The Selvedge ID is a tribute to the traditional New Year's colors of red and gold as symbols of happiness and prosperity. The front pockets are of course red inside for good luck and fortune.
Natural vegetable tanned leather patch and pocket flasher are Over time, the leather patch will develop a deep and characteristic patina, enhancing the jeans' unique expression.
For an added cultural detail, the pants feature red pocket pouches, inspired by the traditional red envelopes that symbolize good luck and prosperity for the new year.
