The story of Foxfibre® cotton begins in the heart of New Mexico, on a farm that follows the highest standards of sustainable and organic farming. This is where this unique cotton is grown.
All Natural Foxfibre® Selvedge is a 15oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven with this very cotton. The Foxfibre® cotton is visible on the inside (weft) of the fabric, giving this denim a warm and earthy hue, a direct reflection of the earth and sun that has given life to the fibers. Over time, the Foxfibre® cotton develops a unique patina, and the color becomes even richer and warmer. This contrasts with the outside of the denim, which is indigo-dyed and will also fade and develop its own patina. The outer layer is also made from organic cotton.
The denim has a classic, raw feel and will require a short break-in period, during which the jeans gradually adapt to the body perfectly. These jeans feature signature Naked & Famous details, such as antique copper buttons and rivets custom-made by YKK, and a natural vegetable tanned leather patch that ages beautifully over time. The brown graded selvedge ID reflects the evolving character of the denim, just like the continuous growth and transformation of nature itself.
