The True Guy from Naked & Famous is a classic selvedge jean made from Japanese denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms. This production method produces the distinctive selvedge edge and a dense, durable denim that develops distinct fades over time.

The denim is a 12oz Sea Island Selvedge made from Virgin American Sea Island Cotton – one of the world’s most exclusive types of cotton. Sea Island Cotton is an ultra-rare extra-long staple cotton known for its silky sheen, even fiber structure and ultra-soft hand feel. The result is a denim that combines classic raw denim structure with an unusually smooth and luxurious finish.

The denim weighs 12oz, making it light to medium compared to classic raw denim. The fabric is made from 100% cotton and will gradually mold to the body with use, while the indigo-dyed warp thread develops contrasting fades over time.

The True Guy fit has a medium rise, extra room in the seat and thighs, and a straight leg that falls straight from knee to leg opening. The result is a classic straight fit inspired by traditional workwear jeans.

The denim fabric is woven in Japan, while the jeans are cut and sewn in Canada.
