The denim is a 12.5 oz Japanese selvedge , woven on vintage shuttle looms in Japan. The fabric is rope-dyed with natural indigo , a dye extracted from the indigofera plant through a traditional fermentation process. The fabric is constructed in right hand twill , a classic denim weave that provides good durability and clear structure. Over time, the jacket will soften and develop the characteristic fades that make selvedge denim a favorite material among denim enthusiasts.
The Stealth Pocket model is based on a classic Type III-inspired denim jacket, but with additional front slash pockets for added practicality. The fit is comfortable across the chest and arms, making it suitable for both a T-shirt and a shirt.
Like all products from Naked & Famous, the fabric is produced in Japan, while the jacket is cut and sewn in Canada .
