The True Guy Left Hand Twill from Naked & Famous Denim is a classic selvedge jean made from Japanese denim woven on traditional shuttle looms. This production method produces the distinctive selvedge edge and a dense, durable fabric that develops distinct fades over time. The denim is 13.75oz indigo rope-dyed Japanese selvedge denim , where the yarn is dyed so that the indigo is mainly on the outside of the fiber. This gives the jeans the classic fading effect when worn.

The True Guy fit is a classic straight fit with a mid-rise waist. It has extra room in the seat and thighs and falls straight from the knee to the ankle opening, creating a timeless silhouette inspired by traditional work jeans.

The fabric is woven in Japan , while the jeans are cut and sewn in Canada , which is typical of Naked & Famous's production.

About denim fabric

Left Hand Twill Selvedge is one of Naked & Famous's most well-known standard denims. The fabric is woven in a left hand twill construction , where the diagonal of the weave runs from the upper left to the lower right. This weaving technique makes the denim gradually softer with wear and highlights distinct vertical fades.

The warp yarn is dyed a deep indigo, while the weft yarn is natural white cotton , giving the classic blue denim surface and light underside. The selvedge edge has a white stripe that marks the traditional weaving method.
