The Western Shirt from EDWIN is a classic denim shirt inspired by traditional American western style. The shirt is made of 7oz right hand denim , a lightweight denim fabric that gives the characteristic denim structure, while remaining comfortable and easy to wear for everyday use.

The fabric is made from 100% cotton , which gives it a natural and durable quality that gradually softens with use. At 7oz, the denim is on the light end of the scale compared to classic denim, making the shirt well suited for layering or as a light outerwear in milder weather.

The fit is Regular Fit , with classic western details such as shoulder and back yoke, curved seams and two chest pockets with flaps. Together with the button closure and curved hem, this gives the shirt an expression that clearly draws inspiration from vintage workwear and cowboy shirts.

About denim fabric

Right Hand Denim is one of the most traditional denim constructions. The weave creates diagonal lines in the fabric that run from the upper right to the lower left. This structure makes the denim relatively soft after use and helps the fabric develop a smooth patina over time.

The warp yarn is dyed with indigo, while the weft yarn is made from natural cotton , giving it the classic blue denim surface and a lighter underside. The result is a lightweight denim fabric that retains the character of denim without the heaviness found in heavier denim fabrics.

The Light Used wash gives the shirt a worn-in look from the start, with a lighter blue tone and a more relaxed vintage feel.
