1947 ROAMER PANT - Indigo Selvedge 21 oz

The 1947 Roamer Pant from Pike Brothers is a classic selvedge jean inspired by work pants from the late 1940s. The model is developed based on historical denim garments from the post-war era, a period when jeans began to transition from pure workwear to everyday wear.

The jeans are made from heavy-duty 21oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms. This weaving method produces the distinctive selvedge edge and a dense, durable denim fabric that develops distinct fades over time.

The denim is made from 100% cotton and is delivered as raw denim, meaning it is stiff at first, but gradually molds to the body and develops personal wear patterns through use.

The fit is Comfort Fit with a high front and back rise, roomy thighs and a tapered leg. This provides good freedom of movement while the silhouette works well with both boots and sneakers.

The denim fabric is produced in Japan, while the jeans are cut and sewn in Europe.
