The 1958 Roamer Pant from Pike Brothers is a classic selvedge jean inspired by work pants from the late 1950s. The model is based on original workwear jeans from the period, where durability and functional details were essential for workers in industry, workshops and on construction sites.

The jeans are made from 16oz raw selvedge denim , a sturdy denim fabric woven on traditional looms. This weaving method creates the characteristic selvedge edge and gives a dense and robust fabric that develops distinct fades over time.

At 16oz, it falls into the medium-weight raw denim category. The fabric is made from 100% cotton and will gradually mold to your body through use, while developing a personal patina.

The fit is inspired by classic 1950s work jeans with a normal waist and regular fit . The silhouette provides good freedom of movement and goes well with both boots and sneakers.

The denim is produced by the Italian Candiani Denim Mill , while the jeans are cut and sewn in Portugal.

About denim fabric

This model is made from 16oz raw selvedge denim from Candiani , one of Europe's most renowned denim mills. The fabric is known for its solid construction and distinct denim texture.

The warp yarn is dyed in indigo, while the weft yarn is natural-dyed cotton. As the jeans are worn, the indigo gradually breaks down, creating contrasting fades.

The strong construction makes the jeans relatively stiff at first. As the fabric breaks in, it becomes softer, while still retaining the structure and character that characterizes raw denim.
