The Wide Pant from EDWIN is part of the brand's Made in Japan collection , designed to showcase Japanese denim craftsmanship at its best. The jeans are made from 13.5oz Kaihara Dark Pure Indigo Rainbow Selvage Denim , woven in Japan by the renowned Kaihara mill. The fabric is dyed with pure indigo and has a deep blue tone that will develop distinct fades and a personal patina over time.
The fit is roomy with a mid to high rise and wide, straight legs . The result is a modern wide-leg silhouette inspired by classic workwear trousers. The raw wash Blue Unwashed means the denim is delivered untreated. The fabric starts out firm and structured, and will gradually shape to the body with use.
The iconic Rainbow Selvage edge becomes visible when the trouser leg is rolled up. It's a subtle signature that shows the fabric is woven on traditional shuttle looms, and a hallmark of premium Japanese denim.
This is a classic raw denim jean with distinct Japanese craftsmanship, robust construction and a modern silhouette.
