Nashville by EDWIN is a classic selvedge jean made from Japanese denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms. This production method gives the characteristic selvedge edge and a dense, durable fabric that develops distinct fades over time.

The denim weighs 14oz , making it medium to heavy compared to classic raw denim. The fabric is made from 100% cotton and comes in Blue Unwashed , a raw denim without washing that will mold to the body and develop a personal patina with use.

The Nashville fit is a classic straight fit with a relatively high waist and straight leg. The model is designed to sit higher on the hip and provide a timeless silhouette inspired by traditional work jeans.

Nashville is one of EDWIN's most iconic models and has been produced for more than 20 years without major changes , making it a true classic in the brand's denim line.

The denim fabric is produced in Japan , while the jeans are cut and sewn in Tunisia .

About denim fabric

This model is made from Red Listed Selvage Denim , a classic Japanese denim fabric developed specifically for the Nashville model. The fabric is woven from 14oz indigo denim , which provides a distinct structure and high durability.

The warp yarn is dyed with indigo, while the weft yarn is made of natural cotton . This construction gives the classic blue denim surface and light underside, which allows the fabric to develop contrasting fades as the jeans are worn.

The denim is sanforized , meaning the fabric is pre-shrunk to reduce shrinkage when washed.

The Red Listed edge along the outer edge of the fabric is a visual hallmark of selvedge denim and showcases the traditional weaving method.
