The denim is made from 100% cotton and delivers the solid structure you expect from classic Japanese denim. At 14oz , the fabric is in the medium to heavy end of the denim scale, providing good durability while still being comfortable for everyday wear.

Kurabo Recycle Red Selvage Denim is produced by Kurabo Mills , one of Japan's oldest and most respected denim mills. The fabric combines traditional Japanese denim production with the use of recycled cotton, without compromising on strength or character.

The denim is woven in a classic twill construction , where diagonal lines in the fabric provide both flexibility and durability. The warp yarn is dyed with indigo, while the weft yarn consists of natural cotton , which gives the classic blue denim surface and light underside.

The distinctive Red Selvage edge shows that the fabric is woven on shuttle looms, a traditional method that provides a clean, finished edge along the outer edge of the fabric.
