Thursday, March 13th at 6:00 PM, Nick Johannessen, better known as WellDressedDad, will be at Raw Denim to talk about clothes and stuff. Nick has created 147 episodes of the podcast Garmology, where he has interviewed a number of people about their interest and expertise in clothing, fashion, and sustainability.

Nick is known as @welldresseddad on Instagram. Here he posts pictures of a slightly grumpy guy – himself – who dresses very well even though he's over fifty, doesn't follow fashion, and maybe isn't really that vain.
We believe the secret behind the stylish images is the interest in clothes, how clothes are made, what constitutes good craftsmanship, good quality fabric, etc. Good quality is unmistakable – it looks good!
What will Nick talk about?
Nick will tell us a little about clothes and the environment. How does clothing function as waste, what actually happens to the donations to Fretex, and is it easy to recycle clothes?
We can't invite Nick without asking him to talk a little about the fashion industry and how it works. This won't be a fun story, but what we know about, we can also do something about – so this part is mandatory. After all, we want the world to be a better place.
Finally, we get some hot tips on how to become a stylish guy with a sustainable view of clothes. What should you look for when buying clothes? How do you know what fits and suits you? Nick also has some tips on how to buy used, and how to avoid super sales turning into beer glasses when buying new. He talks a little about which colors suit who, and warns against having celebrities as role models.
