Meet summer in baggy jeans

This winter, baggy jeans made a full comeback. We recognize the trend from around 2005 where everyone would wear thick, big, baggy jeans and short cropped tops - preferably with a bit of a bare midriff.

What are baggy jeans?

Baggy jeans are denim pants that have legs that are as thick or thicker at the thighs as they are at the hips. This thickness follows the pants all the way down to the calves. Some extreme variations have the calves thicker than the thighs.

Vintage baggy jeans

If you're looking for a vintage pair of jeans that are a bit loose and baggy, a vintage Levi's 512 might be a good fit. It's a low waist with a boot cut that gives a loose baggy look, especially on girls with wide hips.

Strong Guy raw denim from Naked & Famous

If you don't feel like searching for the perfect vintage pair of jeans and want a good quality pair of jeans, the Strong Guy from Naked & Famous could be an alternative. It fits quite tight at the hips, but is loose all the way down. If you want it extra loose, you can oversize and wear a belt.

Wide pants from Edwin

If you want to go all the way and not have to rip the raw denim yourself, Edwin can be a good alternative. You can get real rainbow selvedge made in Japan or you can get a cheaper version made in Europe. Edwin has a good selection of baggy jeans that are extra baggy.
