What is Elephant Denim?
The Elephant series is Naked & Famous's annual "Heavyweight" special. While a regular pair of jeans is around 11–12 oz, and a solid raw denim is 14.5 oz, the Elephant series is heavyweight denim and usually starts at 19 oz, 21 oz or more .
This is thick, stiff and uncompromising selvedge that demands its man to step in. But the reward? The most defined and contrasting "fades" (wear patterns) you can imagine. Behind the knees (honeycombs) and at the hips (whiskers) you will get marks that look like they were carved in stone.
