How to measure

Not sure which size and fit to go for? Here’s how to measure yourself (or your favorite pair) to find the perfect fit.

  • Lay your jeans flat.
Place one of your favorite pairs of jeans flat on a table or the floor, smoothing out any wrinkles.

  • Measure the waist.
Measure straight across the waistband from side to side, then double that number. That’s your waist measurement.

  • Measure the inseam.
Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg. This gives you the inseam length — the number after the “L” on size labels (for example, W32 L34).

  • Measure the knee.
Measure straight across the leg at the midpoint between the crotch and the hem. This helps determine how slim or relaxed the fit will be through the leg.

  • Measure the front rise.
Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the front waistband. This shows how high the jeans will sit on your waist or hips.

  • Measure the back rise.
Turn the jeans over and measure from the crotch seam to the top of the back waistband. A higher back rise offers more coverage and comfort when sitting or bending.

  • Compare with our size chart.
