Raw Denim is about high-quality jeans, with a special focus on raw denim and selvedge jeans, along with other carefully selected garments made to last. We believe in timeless style, good craftsmanship, and clothes that are meant to be worn and loved for many years!
Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we work closely with brands that share our values, focusing on durable materials and responsible production. Our goal is to offer clothing that's worth repairing, reusing, and maybe even passing on. You could call it “future vintage.”

From Flea Market Finds to Raw Denim
Humble Beginnings
I started the shop with my wife back in 2015. At the time, it was a small collective in Grünerløkka selling a bit of everything; vintage, homemade, upcycled pieces and cheap imports. A real mixed bag! We barely made a dime, but the dream was alive.
Eventually, we realized we had to sharpen the concept to survive. We took over the business ourselves and began focusing more and more on what actually sold: Vintage jeans. After a random hit with tracksuits and ‘80s ski suits, we saw that the kids loved secondhand, especially denim!
Finding Our Focus
We opened a dedicated jeans store, and that’s when things took off. We custom-built the interiors, learned everything we could about raw denim, and brought in two of our favorite brands: EDWIN and Naked & Famous. Even when the pandemic, a fire, and rising costs hit us hard, denim was what kept us going.
What We Are Today
Jeans are one of the most versatile pieces you can own. That’s why we also carry a curated selection of clothing that complements denim perfectly like; workwear, jackets, and tees. All picked to elevate your jeans game!
Today, we’re called RAW Denim – Norway’s only specialty shop for vintage and raw denim. We’re still a small spot in Løkka, but now with full focus on what we love and know best:
