Dette er en klassisk denimjakke i slekt med type III. Den har de klassiske brystlommene med klaff. Den har også sidelommer du kan varme hendene i og praktiske innerlommer.
Stoffet i jakka er vevd på vintage skyttelvevstoler i Japan. Stoffet er farget i indigo på den tradisjonelle måten hvor man fermenterer planten Indigofera for å få den karakteristiske blåfargen "indigo". Stoffet veier 12,5 oz og har jarekant slik klassisk japansk selvedge-denim bør ha.
