After an extensive search for rich texture and expressive character, Big John found the answer in “fallen cotton.” By using 40% recycled materials - 20% fallen cotton and 20% regenerated cotton - Big John transforms fibers that would normally be discarded into premium denim with a true vintage feel.

The natural nep texture of the fabric brings warmth and craftsmanship, creating denim that develops a unique personality with wear. By blending cotton waste with reclaimed fibers, the fabric gains irregular slubbing and surface depth, resulting in denim with distinctive character and soul.
